I snapped this beautiful and rare image of the most iconic building in Woodend, Islay House. When the creek flooded, along with the rest of the area, there were plenty of photo opportunities. This was taken just after lunch time. The water was almost lapping the bottom of the walkway bridge, and had swamped the parkland across the road.
Islay House is on the northern end of the main street, over the bluestone bridge. It is begging for somebody with skill and knowhow to come and rescue it.
The whole town is waiting and hoping! And then we'll all be saying "Gawd. We should have bought that place!"
OK. Here it is right way up.

Oh such a beauty! It must be blissful to live in that white house embraced by nature! I wonder how its interior looks like. The house is quite mysterious that makes everyone interested on its features!

Ha. The interior is not so flash. The whole town is waiting/hoping/praying that it'll be restored before it falls down.
